Sprinklers for turf can be divided into 3 main types. Sprayheads water smaller areas up to 5 metres, small rotors water between 5 and 8 metres and large rotors water from 8 to 15 metres. Care needs to be taken to ensure that there is both sufficient water volume and pressure available to run sprinklers at their optimum performance.
